Elle Rathbun '12 has been awarded an Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) Foundation Scholarship, to assist with graduate or professional study. Rathbun, who graduated magna cum laude with honors in neuroscience, will attend medical school at Stony Brook. She served as president of St. Lawrence's chapter of ODK during her senior year.
Rathbun also served as president of Circle K, an emergency medical technician for SLU-EMS and managing editor of the Laurentian literary magazine. She was elected to honor societies in biology and chemistry, served as a peer tutor in the sciences and directed the Science Writing Center.
A native of Plattsburgh, N.Y., Rathbun was awarded a 2011 University Fellowship and presented senior honors research at the 2012 Festival of Science.
