Results of research conducted by a collaborative team of economics students and faculty
will be presented at the Economic Science Association (ESA) conference in Pasadena,
California, this summer by Kim-Anh Le '09, of Vietnam.
The presentation, "Do Members Really Cooperate More? Evidence from Club and
Public Goods Experiments," is in the section of the conference dealing with
public-goods topics and is the result of experiments conducted by
Le, Julia Darcy '08, Brent Davis '08, Visiting Assistant Professor of
Economics Hans Czap and
Assistant Professor of Economics Natalia Ovchinnikova.
The Economic Science Association is a professional organization whose members
focus on developing economics as an observational science. Research in the
area employs controlled laboratory and field experiments as a means of
understanding economic behavior. The conference takes place from June
26 through 29.
