Donna Alvah
An article by Associate Professor of History Donna Alvah, titled "Teaching 'The United States and the Vietnam War'," was published in the May 2010 issue of Perspectives on History, the journal of the American Historical Association. The theme of the issue was "Controversy In the Classroom."
Discussing her seminar for senior history majors and minors, Alvah, who holds the Margaret Vilas Chair, notes in the article that "Controversies about what Americans call 'The Vietnam War' that go back to the 1960s live on in classrooms today."
