St. Lawrence University's Dining Services has been honored for the fifth straight year by the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) for being a national leader in campus dining.

In the 2010 Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards Contest, The Northstar Café was a repeat winner, with a Bronze Medal in retail sales (multiple concepts/outlets). This is the fifth year in a row that "the pub" has won a medal in the competition, which has become increasingly rigorous. Other winners in St. Lawrence's division were the University of San Diego and the University of Dayton
