For the fourth straight year, St. Lawrence University Dining Services has been honored by the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) for being a national leader in campus dining.

In the 2009 Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards Contest, The Northstar Café was a repeat winner, with a Silver Medal in retail sales (multiple concepts/outlets). This is the fourth year in a row that "the pub" has won a Silver Medal in the competition, which has become increasingly rigorous. In this year's competition, no gold medals were awarded in that category.

Staff from dining services will receive the award at the national conference in July, in Milwaukee, WI.
