St. Lawrence University Dining Services has been honored for the second year in a row by the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) for being a national leader in campus dining.

From a field of 167 entries, Dana Dining Center won the Silver Medal in the small-schools category for a theme event, for the Victorian Holiday theme dinner held towards the end of the fall 2006 semester, with assistance from Costume Shop Supervisor Sabrina Egeland '92. The Northstar Café was a repeat winner, with a Silver Medal in retail sales (multiple concepts/outlets).

Staff from dining services will receive the awards at the national conference in July, in Seattle.
