A selection of new work by Assistant Professor of Fine Arts Kasarian Dane, co:lor, is on exhibition at rowlandcontemporary in Chicago, through January 6.

The exhibition press release states, "Dane creates vibrant paintings that reach beyond the surface and provide a carnivalesque safe place that begins to speak to broad themes both decadent and innocent."

Dane received his MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and his BFA from the University of Minnesota. Recent exhibitions include Devening Projects, Chicago; Sarah Bowen Gallery, Brooklyn; and Gallery 32, London.
