Chemistry Honorary Welcomes New Members

Seven students were welcomed into the St. Lawrence Chymist Club, the chemistry honorary, at a ceremony held in their honor on March 29.

New members are pictured (from left): Brendan Courneene '14, Meredith Allen '13, Andrea McCoon '13, Allysa Houle '13, Bethany Pond '13,  Katherine Buxton '14, and Bill Mitchell '13.

To be eligible for membership, students must have taken at least six course units of chemistry, with a minimum 3.5 average in chemistry courses, and have an overall cumulative average of at least 3.2. The organization derives its name from Robert Boyle's "The Skeptical Chymist."
