Eight students have been inducted into the St. Lawrence Chymist Club, the chemistry honorary.

To be eligible for membership, students must have taken at least six course units of chemistry, with a minimum 3.5 average in chemistry courses, and an overall cumulative average of at least 3.2. The organization derives its name from Robert Boyle's "The Skeptical Chymist."

New members are Jen Achtyl '08, Kacey Anderson '08, Nick Calandra '08, Derek Hansen '08, Shreya Kamath '08, Ariel Riezenman '08, Michael Seaman '08 and Stephanie Walter '08.
