Christina Shaver '03, M.Ed. '05 was awarded the William O. Hamilton Distinguished
Faculty Advisor Award by New York District Key Club International at their
recent convention, as the state's top faculty advisor out of 260 clubs in New
York State.
Shaver is a Spanish teacher at Ogdensburg Free Academy in Ogdensburg, and volunteer
advisor for the school's Key Club. She earned her bachelor's degree in Spanish,
and is in the University's graduate program, working towards a Certificate
of Advanced Study as a school district administrator. Shaver was also a member
of Circle K at St. Lawrence, which is the college-level organization sponsored
by the Kiwanis Club, also the sponsor of the high school-level Key Club.
