Christopher B. O'Callaghan '84 has joined the real estate firm of
Cushman & Wakefield in Westchester County, New York, as a senior director. Previously,
he was senior vice president of Albert B. Ashforth Company, a real estate firm in
Stamford, Connecticut.
O'Callaghan has been recognized as a leader in tenant and landlord representation
in Westchester and Fairfield Counties for the past 20 years. He began his career
at Rostenberg Doern Company, and in 1990 started his own commercial real estate
brokerage firm, McCarthy O'Callaghan, based in White Plains. He ran the firm
for 14 years before joining Ashforth in 2004.
A government major at St. Lawrence, O'Callaghan was a member of the football
team and Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He is also a member of several industry and
business organizations and serves on the board of trustees of New York United
Hospital Medical Center; the Business Council of Westchester County; the
Westchester American Red Cross and the National Association of Industrial and Office
Properties. O'Callaghan is also a member of Real Estate Finance Association, the
Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of Westchester (where he served as president) and
Westchester Country Club in Rye, New York.
