Associate Professor of Geology Jeffrey Chiarenzelli '81 has been awarded
a grant from the American Chemical Society's Petroleum Research Fund that will
allow him to work on a project during the summer with Wendell Caesar '11, of
Brooklyn.
Chiarenzelli was awarded the grant, of $4,268, for the support of research
titled "Textural Controls on the Geochemical Variability of Argillaceous Hydrocarbon Source Rocks and Potential Application to Precambrian Units."
A graduate of New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn, Caesar is a member of
the football team.
