Photos and an essay by Chiara Castelbolognesi, who spent the spring 2008 semester here as an exhange student through the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP), are featured on the ISEP Web site.

Castelbolognesi, a student at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Italy, writes that "Knowing the world is the best thing ever" in the essay, which is accompanied by photographs of the St. Lawrence campus, the surrounding communities and activities with friends. "Most of my pictures are focused on people," Castelbolognesi writes, "because this is what this semester really meant to me: I met new people, I could overcome my shyness, I grew up, I learnt from them how the world is different in some aspects and similar in others. The world is so diverse, everyone has a story to tell, and having the opportunity to listen to it is a great chance."
