SLU Student Receives Geology Scholarship

St. Lawrence University senior Bryn Keenhold was selected as one of the recipients of the 2013 Angelo Tagliacozzo Memorial Geological Scholarship, established by the Northeast Section of the American Institute of Professional Geologists.

Keenhold, a geology major from Braintree, Vt., was one of five students chosen to receive the scholarship, which is available to students majoring in geology or the geosciences at nine different colleges and universities throughout the Northeast.

The scholarship, created in 1986, is awarded annually and recognizes the dedicated leadership and service that Angelo Tagliacozzo provided to the organization and the geological profession. The Scholarship furthers Tagliacozzo’s goal of acquainting young geologists with AIPG and its importance to geology.
