Brooke Bouchard '08, of Watertown, has received the Outstanding Student
Employee award from the Northern New York Library Network (NNYLN).
Bouchard is a graduate of Immaculate Heart Central School.
The NNYLN states, "The contribution of student workers to libraries is
an integral part of library operation and the NNYLN believes they
deserve recognition for their efforts."
NNYLN members are invited annually to nominate student employees for the
awards, based on criteria that includes attendance records, patron
service skills, colleague interaction, responsibility, peer leadership,
interest and initiative.
Bouchard is an English major,
a member of the Irving
Bacheller Society, the English department honorary, and
Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She studied at American University
in Washington, D.C., in 2007, through St. Lawrence's
International and Intercultural Studies Program.
