Brooke Bouchard '08, of Watertown, has received the Outstanding Student Employee award from the Northern New York Library Network (NNYLN). Bouchard is a graduate of Immaculate Heart Central School.

The NNYLN states, "The contribution of student workers to libraries is an integral part of library operation and the NNYLN believes they deserve recognition for their efforts."

NNYLN members are invited annually to nominate student employees for the awards, based on criteria that includes attendance records, patron service skills, colleague interaction, responsibility, peer leadership, interest and initiative.

Bouchard is an English major, a member of the Irving Bacheller Society, the English department honorary, and Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She studied at American University in Washington, D.C., in 2007, through St. Lawrence's International and Intercultural Studies Program.
