Brian Doe '94 is the co-author of a new novel, Waking God, that is the
first in a planned trilogy the publisher states is "part thriller, part religion...
a fast moving story with thriller aspects that should make you think."
Ogdensburg native Doe, who lives in Massena and is a teacher in Malone, NY, earned his St. Lawrence
degree in English/writing and a master's degree in secondary education from
SUNY Potsdam. This is his first published novel. Harris' biography states
that he "has worked at every level of government, participated in political
campaigns and has extensive experience in the private sector. With a
lifelong interest in mysticism, he is a member of several mystical, fraternal
organizations."
The publishers of the book have put together an extensive Web site that includes
information about locations and organizations in the book, author biographies
and an excerpt.
