Bill Short

Bill Short, director of the Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) at St. Lawrence, received the Human Relations Award at the 33rd annual conference of the New York State Association of College Admission Counseling (NYSACAC), on June 10, 2011.

The Human Relations Award is presented annually by the NYSACAC Human Relations Committee and is given to an individual or program that champions the issues of access and making post-secondary opportunities available to historically underrepresented students.

Short has served as president of the New York State HEOP Professional Organization; he has directed St. Lawrence's HEOP since 2002.
