A 1970 St. Lawrence graduate has been named to The Los Angeles Business
Journal's annual list of "L.A.'s Most Powerful Sports Executives." William
J. (Bill) Chadwick '70, is a managing director of Chadwick, Saylor & Co., a
real estate investment bank, and president of the Los Angeles Memorial
Coliseum Commission.
The commission is in discussions with the National Football League about
bringing football back to the Coliseum. The Journal article stated
that Chadwick's position as president "could give this behind-the-scenes player
additional influence." He is also chairman of CS Securities, Inc., a registered
broker dealer, and managing director of CS Capital Management, Inc., a
registered investment advisor.
At St. Lawrence, Chadwick earned his degree in government and participated
in the Thelomathesian Society,
football and lacrosse.
He was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa leadership
honorary and Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Chadwick was elected to
St. Lawrence's Athletic Hall of Fame and earned his law degree from
Vanderbilt University in 1973. He is now serving his second term as
a member of the Exposition Park and California Science Center Board
of Directors.
