The website of interviews with ethnic women writers, conducted by St. Lawrence students. Website designed by Amy Yao '14.

Students in Visiting Assistant Professor of English Jill Talbot's class have conducted interviews with ethnic women writers and have published them on a website designed by Amy Yao '14.

These interviews were conducted as part of the course Ethnic Women Writers. Each student contacted a writer of her choice, interviewed the writer via e-mail and wrote an introduction to the interview. Nine authors are featured on the site.

The site's title, "I know of what I speak," is the final line of the poem, "Thing in My Shoe," from Sandra Cisneros's Loose Woman.
