Ensembles and Lessons for Fall 2017

Wondering what to do with that euphonium sitting in the closet?

Anyone may audition for our ensembles, with the exception of the Laurentian Singers, which is for students only. Students are typically registered for 0.25 credit once accepted into the ensemble for which they audition. Our String Orchestra is on hiatus for this semester, but we anticipate that it will resume in the spring. A special feature for this fall is our Rhythm & Roots Ensemble, co-directed by associate professor Michael Farley and teaching fellow Fritz Schenker. In December they will stage the Blue Moon Radio Hour, featuring music of the 1930s. For more information on all of our ensembles, click on the link at left.

Private lessons are available to anyone, provided we have the instructors available. Djembe, piano, bassoon, voice:  whatever you want to do, we'll try to match you with a skilled and experienced teacher. Click the link at left for further information and an application form, due by noon on September 8th.
