What is the Writing Center?

          The Spanish Writing center is an adaptation of the English Writing Center on campus, where experienced student writers offer assistance to fellow students on many aspects on their papers, including flow, organization, structure, and writing style.

         The Polyglot, located inside of room Carnegie 208 on the second floor.

What do the tutors do?

         The directors are in charge of hiring, overseeing tutors, tutoring, training, organizing the center, and conducting bi-weekly meetings.

What do you have to do to become a tutor?

         You need to contact one of the directors to get an application, then both directors will review your application and decide if you're qualified. It helps if you've studied abroad, although this is not a requirement.

Who comes to the Spanish Writing Center?
 
         Spanish students at any level - beginner, intermediate, or advanced.
