Dr. Steven White, Professor of Spanish, recently published El mundo más que humano en la poesía de Pablo Antonio Cuadra: un estudio ecocrítico (The More-Than-Human-World in the Poetry of Pablo Antonio Cuadra: An Ecocritical Study). The reception was open to all students and faculty. Dr. White talked about his goals and inspirations for writing one of the first books published in Spanish on ecocriticism, defined as "the study of the relationship between literature and the physical environment."
