Japanese Minor Six courses are required for the Japanese Minor in either of the two ways: (1) Minor with Study Abroad: Students take Japanese 101-102, or up to 103-104, on campus and then apply for a semester program at Nanzan University, Nagoya, or for the year-long program at ICU, Tokyo. Other courses can be taken from MLL department such as literature in translation, film, drama and culture, or courses in humanities and social sciences from other departments on campus, as well as relevant courses from Japanese Universities. (2) For Minor without study in Japan, students must take Japanese 101-104 along with at least two more courses on campus, as described above.
