Dr. Llorente is currently teaching:

SPAN 213A & B: Cultures of Spain
SPAN 446A: Advanced Conversation
Marina A. Llorente, Associate Professor of Modern Languages and
Literatures at St. Lawrence University, received her Ph.D and M.A in
Spanish Literature from the University of Kansas and her B.A from the
University of Málaga, Spain. She has published Palabra y deseo:
Espacios transgresores en la poesía española, 1975-1990 in 2000. Her research has been in intersections between Hispanic literatures and gender focusing in contemporary Hispanic poetry analyzed under the theoretical framework of cultural studies. Ethics and contemporary
poetry in Cuba, Mexico, and Spain is her current field of interest.
