Dr. G. Brokoph is a native German and teaches German language, literature, film and culture. She has a special interest in film and periodically teaches courses such as Media and Film, The New German Film, WWII and the Holocaust in German Film and Literature, Conversation and Film and is planning a course on The German Expressionist Film for the near future. For the intermediate and advanced language levels she has recently developed courses examining works of fiction and film portraying young adults, such as Youth Literature and Film, and The Holocaust in Youth and Young Adult Literature and Film.

Dr. Brokoph is an internationally renowned scholar of Austrian literature and has been teaching a course on Austrian culture, Vienna at the Turn of the Century, for many years. She has also created the semester program in Vienna in 1974 and has directed it several times.
