Crossing Boundaries releases call for proposals
The Crossing Boundaries Project, funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, has released a Call for Proposals for Fall 2013. Crossing Boundaries can fund small-scale projects of up to $2,000 and a limited number of large-scale grants exceeding $2,000. Both categories of grants can help defray costs associated with digitization; books, materials, software; collaborative project travel (but not student travel); speaker fees; and student researchers or project assistants. We strongly encourage large-scale grants to consider requesting either a development stipend ($500-$1200) or a course release in support of project development and implementation. Small-scale grants may be submitted at any point during the year. Proposals for large-scale grants are due by Wednesday, October 23, 2013 (There will be another deadline in March 2014).
