Third SLU Mathematics Professor gives Randolph Lecture

Professor Vandervelde gave the Randolph Lecture at the October 23rd meeting of the Seaway Section of the MAA.  The Randolph Lecture is an invited talk on a subject in mathematics education.  Professor Vandervelde's talk, "King Solomon on Teaching Math", discussed an innovative pedagogical tool known as an IF-AT for engaging students in cooperative learning in the classroom. 

Professor Vandervelde joins Professors (Robin) Lock and (Patti Frazer) Lock as current SLU Mathematics professors invited to give the Randolph Lecture.
