Title:   "Infrared Image Processing and Classifying Using Feature Selection."
Abstract: Feature selection is a method of removing extraneous features from a set of data (in our case, an image) so that only the relevant festures will be used. In our project, we utilized two different algorithms to perform feature selection, Relief and Simba, over a set of training data representing a video involving a target and non-targets, as well as a UCI data set involving rocks and mines. After performing feature selection, we were to classify the data in order to see how well each algorithm worked, and test it to see whether or not one outperformed the other.
