In addition to science classrooms and mathematics department
offices, Valentine houses a computer classroom which is equipped with 26
computers, a projection screen and printer, so that students may work
individually or on group projects, while professors guide and critique their
work. St. Lawrence ranks19th among liberal arts colleges
in the Northeast in the number of graduates who go on to earn Ph.D.s in science
