KathrynMcAndrews
and HakiemGreenhut ’09
traveled to Buenos Aries, Argentina, to celebrate
the nuptials of Kyle McDonnell ’09. Kyle and
Christina were married in April at an estate de-
scribed by McAndrews as “incredibly gorgeous.”
There’s a picture in the wedding pages.
Jack Fitzpatrick
married Juliana Ilvento, a Co-
lombia graduate, last October. The couple got
hitched in Montecito, Calif. “Fitz” works for S&P
Capital IQ in San Francisco. He reports he has
been hitting the links quite often and enjoys liv-
ing on theWest Coast.
I caught up with
Brooke Bouchard
and
Chris-
tian Spicer
in late May as we celebrated Emily
Clark’s graduation from Upstate Medical Univer-
sity in Syracuse, N.Y. As we affectionately re-
ferred to Emily as “Dr. Clark” throughout brunch,
Brooke shared that she and Christian had
bought their first house in April, in the Brown-
croft neighborhood of Rochester, N.Y. The cou-
ple says, “Wedding planning hasn’t started yet.
We’re too focused on landscaping and getting
granite counter tops…Priorities!”
Rachel Hall Lindeman
and husband Mike are
also homeowners. They purchased a charming
home in the Philadelphia suburbs. The couple
celebrated their move in with a painting party
with close friends and family.
Carling Delaney
writes, “I live in the Vail Valley
in Colorado, just bought a house, love my job do-
ing marketing and advertising for Slifer, Smith &
Frampton Real Estate. I get to go skiing on my
lunch break - can't complain!”
After running in the Fairfield half-marathon with
Tami Couch, Julia Kiernan, KimMyers
and
Em-
ily Clark
in June, I found out that the Kappas had
not one, but two reunions planned this summer.
Sisters from ’08 (
Kristin Dacey
was also in at-
tendance) gathered on Martha’s Vineyard in May
and in the Hamptons in July. In addition to Myers,
Couch, Kiernan and Clark,
MarnieMcLagan, Em-
ily Denham, Melissa Smith, Rebecca Riegel-
haupt, Maggie Kennedy
and Brooke Bouchard
also gathered for fun in the sun.
Martin Papp
sent the University a link to
a video on youtube “with a brief overview
of what I have been doing in China for the
last three years”:
watch?v=zpTKCOlJMyQ. “You could definitely say
that my study program in Shanghai in 2006 was
the genesis of all this,”he said. “Thanks, SLU!”

Alicia Johnson
wrote on her Alumni Fund form,
I am a case manager for Valley Court Diversion
programs in Windsor County, Vt. I am working
toward becoming a licensed alcohol and drug
counselor and am currently an apprentice addic-
tions professional.”
Upon graduating in 2009, I completed the
counseling and human development program,
also at St. Lawrence University. In doing this, I re-
ceived both my M.Ed. in Counseling and Human
Development and my Certificate of Advanced
Studies in Counseling. I was also a graduate as-
sistant to the coordinator of the program, Prof.
Arthur Clark. I spent two years interning and
working as a school counselor in the state of
New York at the elementary, middle and high
school levels before deciding that I was ready for
a change. So, in August 2011, my boyfriend (Jack
Droppa '11) and I packed up our car and moved
out to Snowbird, Utah. For the past two years, I
have been a school counselor at Providence Hall
Junior High, a charter school in Herriman, Utah.
Jack is a member of Ski Patrol at Snowbird Ski
and Summer Resort. We love it out West (espe-
cially the skiing!) and have been lucky to have
had many visitors from St. Lawrence!
And that’s all I have for now. Please share news if
you have it! Until next time, I wish you all the best.
