Scarlet and brown become St. Lawrence's
official colors. Did you know the original
flag looked more like this and that the
original colors proposed by Thelmo were
blue and maroon?
The original University seal designed by
Nelson Robinson, Class of 1877,
will continue as St. Lawrence's most
prestigious and enduring symbol of
academic excellence.
"
Gules, cross bottony Argent; quartered
with Sanguine, open book Argent; edges,
covers and clasps."

Hip, hip,
the new!
The primary new logo
(
pictured here) and secondary
elements, like the SLU
monogram and flag, are all
part of the “team.”
About 1,000 students, faculty, staff, alumni and their
families came out for games, prizes and giveaways at
Spirit Fest
(

on Aug. 29, celebrating the official launch.
