| Facilities: | 20 student computer stations with campus network access and headsets with microphones around three walls, and cushioned chairs on rollers. The room also has 15 moveable desk-type chairs for lecture or discussion, as well as a seminar table at the center of the room with seating for 12. An instructor's station at the front of the room includes a computer with campus network access, a CD/DVD drive, and VCR. TV/video/computer projection is also available. An additional network jack/data projection jack is available for attatching a laptop computer. A media closet houses a multistandard (international) VCR, an audio cassette player, a Sony VID-P100 desktop camera and a remote/cordless microphone. Complete instructions for use of all instructor's equipment are posted in the closet. A printer is available for both instructor and student use. Complete instructions for operating the instructor's station are posted on the door inside the media closet. |
