As part of the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at St. Lawrence University, it is the mission of the Language Resource Center to promote and support the teaching and learning of foreign languages and cultures and to contribute to the university’s mission to create globally-aware citizens.

To meet these goals, the LRC has the following objectives:
• to work with faculty to identify and select the proper technologies for enhancing a particular pedagogy or learning goal
• to develop and support the use of multimedia technology in the classroom
• to train faculty and students in the use of various technologies, including audio and video editing, web and social software, Angel, VirtuaLab (CAN8), etc.
• to promote the understanding of other languages and cultures via programming such as Carnegie 10 International Film Series and events during National World Language Week
• to foster connections between study abroad programs and on-campus study
• to maintain a media library of films and materials for language teaching

Monday - Thursday 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM
Friday 8:30 AM - 6 PM
Sunday 6:00-9:00 PM
