Deb Lyndaker ’97 is on the fast track to
success. Very successful as an undergraduate student-athlete, Lyndaker
returned to her alma mater to help guide the current crop of student-athletes
to success on the playing field and in the community.
Deb Lyndaker '97 returned to St. Lawrence after earning a master's
degree at Ithaca College. Women's head cross country coach
and assistant men's track coach, Lyndaker earned her second-straight
league Coach of the Year honor in 2004. She is also one of the advisors
for the University's Student Athlete Advisory Committee, which
includes in its mission involving student-athletes in a variety of
service activities on campus and in the area, and encouraging academic
achievement.
Lyndaker was the first woman to earn All America honors in cross country
and track at St. Lawrence when she was a cross country All America
in 1994. She went on to earn All America in the 1500 in track in 1997.
When she graduated, Lyndaker held 14 University track and field records
and was also an Academic All America in both cross country and track.
