A native of Baltimore,
Maryland I am greatly enjoying my time in the North Country during these
summer months. Come August I will be heading into my junior year, and
continuing to pursue majors in Mathematics and
English. On campus I am involved in student government (also known as
the Thelomathesian Society), the Beta Theta Pi fraternity, the academic
honor council and several other clubs, organization and intermural
sports teams. Next semester I will be living in
Commons Theme Cottage, a house on campus with an emphasis on academic
expansion and community service. In the Spring I plan to travel around
the world to study abroad in New Zealand, where I plan to explore
geological features of the area. I love to travel,
read, hike, and be outdoors in general. In my blog I hope to examine my
experience at St. Lawrence, and in the process try to capture what
connects all of those who share a love for this special place.
My advice to current and prospective students is: go on peak weekend!
