Josh Johnson

My name is Josh Johnson and I am currently a junior here at Saint
Lawrence University. I am from Bemus Point, NY, which is about an hour
south of Buffalo. I am a chemistry major and intended global studies
minor. I am studying abroad in Denmark currently. I am talking mainly
journalism courses at DIS (Danish Institute for Study Abroad) in
Copenhagen. I first heard of St. Lawrence University from my mother who
is an alumna. When I visited the spring of my junior year I truly fell
in love with the school. The people here are what I believe truly sets
SLU apart from other universities and I have had an amazing time with
my St. Lawrence career thus far.

On campus I am involved with the Thelomathesian Society
(student government), and the student alumni association. Also, last
year I was also a community assistant in Whitman and I really enjoyed
myexperience. As a CA worked with one of the First Year Programs and
lived in a single in a first year dorm. Last summer I worked as an
intern in the Office of Admissions, where I began this blog. I am very
excited to have this opportunity to continue to share my experiences
