The Arts On Campus in April

The month of April is known for its spectacular showcasing of the arts around campus. To kick things off this month, Sarah Ruhl’s Dead Man’s Cell Phone was performed at Gulick Theatre and was directed by PCA professor Ann Marie Halstead. The play deals with death, mourning, memory, and technology in the modern era. Roles in these plays are open to students from all majors and acting backgrounds.

Ottawa!

One thing that is great about being in Canton is we are incredibly close to Ottawa. In fact, we are the closest American University to a foreign nation's capital. Unfortunately, this is only the third time I have been to Ottawa. I went once for a tour of parliament with my First Year Program (Check out the FYP here). Then another time for a Penguins vs. Senators playoff hockey game.
