4th of July in February?

This weekend there will be a registered event at our local bar The Tick Tock!  The theme is 4th of July in February.  It probably sounds a little bit ridiculous and it is... but who doesn't love the Fourth of July?

Students are invited and show up in any American/Olympic/Summer BBQ outfit.  In years past we have seen bald eagles, mount rushmore, and even Presidents attend the event! This year it will be really fun with the Olympics just getting started. 

This is Chelsea as a 1932 4th of July Pagent Queen and Julie as a Bald Eagle!  Believe it or not that blue dress was found in the attic of my sorority house!! 

Dana, Ricky (As Bruce Springsteen) and Holly are decked out in red, white and blue!

Mt. Rushmore (also known as MJ, Lisa & Heather) had some killer dance moves!

I can't wait to see the wild outfits created this weekend and share in the fun myself! I love when song plays over the speakers that EVERYONE knows the words to! The entire bar sings along! For Fourth of July I'm hoping for Born to Run or Born in the U.S.A. by the Boss!
