SNOW!

St. Lawrence University

Today is the first day of substantial snowfall in Canton!  Winter has arrived in the North Country--only 103 days left until Spring (not that I've already been counting down...)

Enjoy the pictures I took as I walked around campus this morning...

Bikes in front of Dean Eaton Residence Hall:

Richardson Hall:

Johnson Hall of Science:

As I was walking back to the Admissions Office, I caught one of our student workers, Seth Jackson '12, leaving work and heading to class on his bike (wearing no hat and no gloves!)

Red berries in front of Memorial Hall:

Evidence of the ongoing construction and renovations of the Arts complex:

A great view of campus from the third floor of the Sullivan Student Center:

Side porch of Memorial Hall (home of Environmental Studies and Canadian Studies) with the Sullivan Student Center in the background:

And I've saved my favorite picture for last.  As I was walking past a bench near the Johnson Hall of Science, this caught my eye:

Hat and Gloves

John! I woke up to a light snow, but by the time I left work it was really coming down! I can assure you I had them on for class this afternoon.

Hat and Gloves

Well Seth, it was not John who posted that comment......... and, I already told your Mother!

NO hat, no gloves?

Seth! You need a hat and gloves up there in the North Country! I'm telling your Mother!

John's blog

Great pictures ... great memories.
Gives one the sense of being right back on campus.
Good work John!

Photos are very beautiful.
