Sunshine in the North Country

Jambo!

It is a beautiful day in Canton, New York.  The air is crisp, leaves are beautiful and the sun is shining!  It doesn't get much better for a Thursday. 

I was able to eat at the Time Out Cafe in our athletic center and had my favorite lunch, chicken salad with grapes on a warm pita!  There is no comparison, Gail and her team at Newell are the best.  Afterwards, I headed to Wal Mart with a few friends, which may sound unexciting but is always a blast.  I really love any opportunity to sing in the car!

This weekend will be a busy one because mid semester break begins a week from today! It is a four day weekend that all of campus has been eagerly anticipating.  I will be spending my break visiting Washington D.C. for the first time.  It will be a site seeing packed weekend! I am visiting Patrick, my boyfriend, who is a part of the D.C. semester away program.  It works just like a study abroad program except instead he becomes a semester long student at American University.  He spends two days a week as an intern and the rest in classes for his specific program.  I'm lucky because he will be the perfect tour guide!

I'm working on an 8-10 page paper for my Advanced Non Fiction Writing class and I'm working through a few narrative kinks.  It is due the week after I get back from break and then it is workshop time again.  Wish me luck!
