Graduation is only the beginning...

I can't believe graduation is only a  bit over a week away.  People always say how fast four years of college will go by but you don't really have a grip on it until you take that last exam.  Before last weekend I was really nervous about my future and what was ahead of me after graduation.  Last weekend we had our basketball alummni come up for the weekned playi in the alumni game.  I had the time to share some valuable time with them and hear their stories and what life has been like after SLU.  Through the interaction I had with the alumni dating all the way back to graduates of the class of '98, I realized that everything will work themselves out.  If you have any affiliation with the SLU community then you are well aware of the bond that is formed with fellow laurentians.  I realized that just because I'm graduating, my experiences with SLU are far from over.  I know now that I will always have a place where I can go here at St. Lawrence and there are always fellow Laurentians ready to share their stories with you and give a helping hand.  So my advice to everyone at St. Lawrence is to enjoy their years as students but know that it's only the beginning of our journey and I'm looking forward to the next step.  All the nerves I had are gone now and I'm looking forward to enjoying my final week at St. Lawrence before graduation!!!
