Only a few weeks left....

    My college basketball career has come to an end after a tremendous season.  We finished the year with a record of 22-7 and being able to advance to the "Sweet 16" of the NCAA tournament my senior year is something that I'll never forget.  It was a very weird time to end the season because it was also the start of our spring break and for the first few days all I did was think about our season as it was such a large part of my life for the previous 5 months.  It was also nice to be able to just relax for a week before coming back to campus.  It's hard to believe that it's almost April and graduation is a little over a month away.  I'm excited to be able to have the chance to make the most of these last few weeks and make a few final college memories with my friends.  I would be lying if I said that I wasn't thinking daily about what I will be doing with my life after graduation, as I'm sure many seniors are. 
    With that being said, the resources that we have here on campus to help us with career paths are incredible.  The main resource which I refer to often is our career service center, located on the 2nd floor of the student center.  Whether it's creating a resume or doing a mock interview there isn't anything that our career service office won't help out with him.  I encourage you not to wait until you senior year to think about going into the career service center as it's also a great resource for internships or even just trying to figure out a career path.  It is also a great place to go to find out about certain graduate programs and test preparations and making an appointment is very simple, it's never to early to start thinking about life after SLU, because it comes up in hurry.
