Hellooo! So, the most unexpected thing happened to me after my second week being here. Again, another "freak accident" (if you aren't familiar with what I'm referring to, please read my earlier entry talking about my laptop). I got a concussion! Unfortunately, I am not lucky enough to say that I got the concussion in a sport. Actually, the story is a little embarrassing but now I know to pay attention where I am standing, especially in doorways.

I was talking with a few of the football players while standing in the doorway of their triple. Since it's big, they can have their desks and beds wherever, even next to the door. One had his desk positioned so that if he needed to, he can open and close the door anytime he pleases. He was listening to music and didn't know I was there and shut (or attempted) to shut the door! Remember, this is a football player, not a fly.

Of course, that "knocked" me out of whack. I fell slightly behind in a few of my classes and my daily routine was disturbed but I'm getting back on track. I'll restart my biology department job next week!

Update: I got a 93 on my first economics exam!
