Too Many Commas
Last night after squash practice I made my way down Route 11 toward Potsdam to catch the Women's Hockey team battle our arch rivals, Clarkson University. Although the arena was taken over by Clarkson fans, St. Lawrence had a strong presence behind the Saints bench, including Dean of Admissions, Terry Cowdrey.
At the end of the first period the Golden Knights led the Saints with a one goal advantage. Working well under pressure, the Saints were able to tie the game with only six minutes into the second period. Unfortunately, Zimmerman's goal would be the only celebration the Saints would face for the remainder of the game. Clarkson retaliated with a 2-1 win. A nail biter indeed.
Well, it's Winter Weekend here at St. Lawrence. This weekend is filled with a multitude of events! Let's see...we have Men's and Women's Basketball, live music at the Student Center, Beer & Wine Social, Men's "White Out" hockey game vs. Clarkson, a comedy show and the one I know I won't miss this weekend, Flippin' Out Ski/Snowboard Trampoline Show. Too many commas in that sentence. Oh but! Most importantly, the Men's and Women's Squash team are playing Middlebury at 5:30 today, I sugguest you be there!!!
