Databases for Ecosystem, Eggplant, and Entrepreneurship

These databases are a great place to start your research for this class. 

  1. GreenFILE - Covers a variety of disciplines such as agriculture, education, law, health and technology.  Topics covered include global climate change, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 612,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 9,100 records.  Coverage: 1973 - present
  2. Environment Complete - Contains more than 2.5 million records from more than 2,350 domestic and international titles dating back to 1888 (including over 1,350 active core titles). The database contains full text for more than 930 journals, including many of the most used journals in the discipline, such as Environment (back to 1975), Ecologist, Conservation Biology, etc.  Coverage: 1945 - present
  3. Business Source - Business research database, featuring the full text for more than 2,100 journals in economics, marketing, management and other fields. Full text is provided back to 1965, and searchable cited references back to 1998.  Additionally, fulltext non-journal content includes market research, industry reports, country reports, company profiles and more.  Coverage Start: 1965
  4. BioOne - Full-text for 171 titles from more than 129 publishers. BioOne is an online aggregation of primary research in the fields of organismal biology, ecology, zoology, and environmental science. A valuable resource for students, faculty, and researchers, featuring timely content on a wide-array of today’s most pressing topics, including global warming, stem cell research, and ecological and biodiversity conservation.  Coverage: 1998 - present
