The Web Fever Archive installation opens April 24th in the ODY library and runs until May 2nd. Maps are provided at the circulation desk.
The class, taught by Wes Kline, has made a series of installations that 'inhabit' the space of ODY, primarily on the lower level and in the study room on the ground floor. FEVER ARCHIVE exists as a temporary and transient archive within the ODY library archives, exploring how we use information to structure knowledge, consolidate power, articulate histories, and generate aesthetic pleasure. The projects explore the unseen horses in the SLU equestrian center, the archeologies of the mushroom, personal histories, found object collections and many more ideas that look for the "fever" in the drive to collect and disseminate information.
