To that end this year’s leadership conference has been designed to present workshops in skill development as well as workshops that can inform us about how to live a more sustainable life. Following the welcome addresses, there will be two break-out sessions. Each session has three workshops focused on skill development and three on sustainability issues. As you choose workshops consider that as responsible citizens we should make decisions about how we live our lives in relation to each other, not in isolation from one another. As college students we need to be aware that while we may have issues about which we are really passionate, if we want to have a global impact or a meaningful local impact, we have to be aware of the concerns of other socially responsible individuals and work collectively. Through this conference we hope you will be able to develop your own solutions for living a sustainable life and consider creative initiatives for challenges we face today personally, locally, and globally.
