Benediction at Inauguration of President William L. Fox

Thank you, President Fox. Please stand for the Benediction. Friends, our hearts have been enriched this week, culminating in this sacred occasion this morning.
And so now we go down from this place, empowered and inspired through the forums, lectures, talent shows and most of all, the fellowship. And we go with the wisdom of The Reverend Peter Gomes who reminded us that ultimately we have an investment in hope.

We have witnessed the investiture of our fine president, President Bill Fox. With him, may we all feel clothed with a renewed sense of the possibility of transformation within ourselves and this world.

May we all have safe passage back to our homes whether we come from across the quad, across the street or across the country.

**May the One infinite in love; infinite in grace; infinite in mercy – God’s countenance be lifted up before you and give you peace. Now let us depart and do the work of peace. Amen.
