Please visit The Inauguration Registration Center at 62 Park Street upon your arrival.
Where do I park?
An Inauguration parking pass and instructions on where to park will be included in your information packet. Please display your parking pass on the driver's side dashboard of your vehicle. Please park in Lots H, D or J.
What time does robing begin and where is it located?
Robing for delegates begins at 9:30 a.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to provide ample time to robe before the Academic Procession, which forms at 10:30 a.m. Delegates will robe in the MacAllaster Room of Owen D. Young Library.
What time does the Academic Procession begin?
The Academic Procession steps off at 10:45 a.m., but you will begin lining up at 10:30 a.m.
Am I required to wear regalia?
All members of the Academic Procession are required to wear regalia. Delegates are asked to furnish their own regalia; we will be happy to hang regalia in the MacAllaster Room for safe keeping after your arrival and before and after the ceremony.
I wish to be a delegate for my school. How can I sign up?
Each college assigns its own delegate. If you wish to represent your alma mater, please contact the President’s Office at the institution, make your request and direct the staff to the Delegate RSVP form on line.

What time does robing begin and where should I go?
Robing begins at 10:00 a.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to provide ample time to robe before the Academic Procession, which forms at 10:30 a.m. Faculty will robe in Richardson Hall and students will robe in Vilas Hall.
What time does the Academic Procession begin?
The Academic Procession steps off at 10:45 a.m., but you will begin lining up at 10: 30 a.m.
Am I required to wear regalia?
All members of the Academic Procession are required to wear regalia. Students who are chosen for the Academic process will be provided with gowns by the University. Faculty and staff who are processing should retain your regalia from Matriculation.

What events are planned during Inaugural Week?
Inaugural events begin Wednesday, October 21 and continue through Sunday morning, October 25. Unless otherwise noted as “by invitation”, all Inaugural events are free and open to students and their families, alumni, faculty, staff, and the Board of Trustees.
When is the Inauguration Ceremony?
The Ceremony begins promptly at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 24; however, the Academic Procession begins at 10:45 a.m., so guests are asked to be seated by 10:45 a.m.

Where should I park for the Installation Ceremony?
Guests are ecouraged to park in Lot H or Lot D. Our parking map is linked here.
What is the dress code?
Business attire is suggested for the weekend events.
May I bring a guest to the Installation Ceremony?
Attendees are welcome to bring a guest. Please RSVP online here.
Information for Current Students
Are students invited to the Inauguration?
Students are most welcome to attend any events that are open to the campus: the Contemporary Issues Forum/Mackay lecture by Peter Gomes, the seminar series on Friday afternoon, the SLU’s Got Talent! showcase, the Inauguration ceremony, the all-campus reception and the Nik and the Nice Guys Concert.
Student who wish to march in the academic procession are invited to submit a statement to the Inauguration Committee; 60 students will be chosen from all four classes to represent the student body. Any student can attend the ceremony as a guest, even if you do not apply to be a representative.

Where can I get tickets to Nik and the Nice Guys?
Tickets for Nik and the Nice Guys and SLU's Got Talent! are free and available to students starting October 1 at the Information Desk at the Sullivan Student Center.
