The purpose of the Human Resources Department is to support the University in recruiting and retaining the finest faculty and staff possible to carry out its mission as a liberal arts university. The HR Department will keep central to all its functions the knowledge that it is through its people that the university is able to function, and to keep central in all that the department does the belief that "human' is the most important resource of any institution.
